An Afternoon with Authors

We are hard at work in 4th grade writing Informational/ Non-Fiction books using the writing process.  The first book we wrote followed a step by step approach with a series of mini lessons focused on each step.  We published the first book, celebrated!, and then got right to work on our second piece.  This second book asks the students to follow the step by step process on their own with a check list, hopefully resulting in more independence!  We would love to show off our books at a celebration entitled "Afternoon with Authors" and we hope you can join us!
